The place I'll be hunting north of Abilene has a nice waterhole right in the corner of a pasture. I'm planning on setting a stand close by and sitting there on 9-27 our opener.

did you dig this water feature in yourself? I have been kicking around diggin in a small watering hole, but keep putting it off..I have a crrek that runs through property, but its seasonal ,,looks like I need to get get digging, I have read to line a hole with a rubber or a tarp, and fill with water, then let the rain take care of the rest..

Great pics. Makes me wish I had a water source on my property. They can be seen along the local stream that runs near my property all summer long and early fall.

That one buck on the left hand side of the pic kinda far out looks like a pretty good one. They're definitely drawn to that water.
