Thanks To All

To all of you who responded to my need for a bow for my son - Thank you.

He just called me tonight to see how surgery went and then told me he went to the local Scheels and purchased a 2007 Bear compound bow with whisker bisket and he didn't know who made the sights, all he knew was it had a fox head on it. It came with 12 Easton carbon arrows cut to length and a quick release. He got it all for $400.00. He told me that the salesman was somebody I knew. Turns out a police officer/friend I worked with before I retired is working there part time. I called thefriend on his celland asked him if my son shot the bow before buying and he told me that my son shot 12 arrows at 15 yards and all 12 arrows could be covered up by a tennis ball. He went on to say that one of his shots Robin Hooded a previous arrow. After my son did that, my friend purchased the quick release for my son and told him it was a custom there if someone robin hooded an arrow, the salesman bought him something for his bow.

My boy is coming down this Sunday to practice shooting with his old man. I am so excited and proud! Another bow hunter has been born into the brotherhood.

My son got the Bear, not me. I have a "Scheels" bow made by Bear and he bought the Bear. Didn't ask him which bow he got. Just tickled that he bought one.

The bow my son bought was the Fred Bear Lights Out with whisker biscuit, don't know the name of the sight but it has a fox head on it, limb savers, stabilizer, quill, 12 easton arrows, and quick release for $399.99 + tax. I think he came out well, what do y'all think about that deal??
