Actually, that is not the non-typical record. That buck was shot in 2002 and was the old NT record. Here is the information and pics of the new NT PA state record:

That's unreal Steve. Talk about MASS!!!
Yep its got a ton of mass!! When it was officially measured by the P&Y we were at the sports shop where they measured it at. Actually mom helped the P&Y measurer (Dave Boland) measure the rack. She held on to it for him so he could do the measuring. My mom said the rack was very heavy and that her arms were very tired after wards.

Iowa's state record typical buck. I can't tell you the score because it was never released to the public. But look at that mass!

I talked to jay about two weeks ago he also took another buck that that grossed in the mid 160`s and netted in the mid 140`s not counting the new Ga state record . " what a season" Bow kill!

Jay Maxwell of Bethlehem, Georgia became the 13th certified member of the Muzzy 200 Club on November 20th, 2007 when he harvested the new Georgia State Archery Record Whitetail Buck in North Fulton County.

The buck’s official Pope & Young score is 234 7/8” gross, and 213 4/8” net. It has 18 scoreable points, two drop tines, and is a mainframe 9-point.
