Farm Deer, nothing more. Those are actually small deer with huge racks, do a search on Goliath, from up here in the North, don't worry, I got you one....... See below. Put these deer in a pin, refine the feed they get, ensuring and excess of calcium, trace minerals, phosphorus, magnesium etc, and you can grow them very nicely as well. Add in a "selective" breeding program, mate one of this deers daughters with one of Goliath's sons, and you may end up with something EVEN bigger. This BS is part of what is driving up the prices of our hunting acrosss the country. HORN PORN!!!!! In all honesty, I have more respect for the little 100" that some of the guys on here may shoot or may have shot than EITHER of the genetically altered deer that are seen on this thread!!!!!

Yes, farm raised deer are bred & fed to grow huge racks. All I was asking was how'd you like to run across a deer like that? Not on a farm, there aren't many if any on this forum that would take a deer in a pen.

I always wonder to myself what i would do if i see something like that while hunting, one thing is for sure though, it would be my secret....nobody is gunna know where i was hunting ;)

Theres a big hunting club/outfitter just down the road from my house. About 6 or 7 years ago, they bought three does fromGoliath, tagged them and let them go. They have no fences and those nanny's were off limits. The last I heard they still had one left. They only have 6000 acres, with dispersal....how knows.:)They gave $18,000 for all three, it must be big businessifit's gone up that much.

Sorry, being the EVER "How realistic is that, cynic (blame over 12 yrs. of working in the medical field or being married nearly that long, IDK either way)," I couldn't look past the EAR TAG!!!! In the field, I honestly don't know what I'd do. I can tell you that having seen a few "fair chase" deer that were 180-200" nothing I ever had a even close chance at shooting, I know even from a few hundred yards I'm trying to catch my breath.

I would probably be too busy crappin myself and have cardiac arrest to get a shot off, but, I'd still love to have something like these walk by one time.
