RE: Would you all agree this is the same deer?

Everytime I see a thread like this or here someone ask this question,I remember when I was driving to Metropolis Ill.ASA shoot and 2 big deer come running down the side of the road. They looked identical, probably twins.I thought to myself then, wonder how many times 1 was mistaken for the other.

So to answer the question,no way to know for sure.;)

If you had 1 with character, might be easier to tell then.

I think that at least 1, 4, 5 are the same deer. It is hard to tell with the others but I think those are the same deer also. In the three pics listed all the deer seem to have the same exact dark spot on their noses in the same exact place.

Deer antlers during the growing period, with the proper nutrition can grow an inch per day. With the 2nd and 3rd picture being approx 6 days apart, I see around 6 - 7 inches of growth as far as beams and height. Like said theres no way to know for sure. But I would put my money on yes, if i had too. Good luck!

There certainly are a lot of similarities if it isn't the same deer. He also did a heck of a lot of growing from 6/21-6/27 if it's the same guy.

Hopefully it's not the same buck and you have a couple of nice ones running around.;)

Good luck.
