I will be focusing on hunting natural sources of food and travel routes as oppose to creating a food source for them to come to. I hope to score big by not trampling the area to place bait and check cameras. i have my spots i will go out in a few weeks to set up stands and then next time im there i will be there to hunt.

I'm going to be shooting feathers this season. I got a dozen Beman ICS Hunter 340's from Hunters Friend ( www.huntersfriend.com ) about 2 months ago (6 with standard offset vanes, 6 with right helical feathers).
After spending some time understanding the differences at an indoor archery range, I can attest that feathers fly so much better. I still can't get over the accuracy I got from them! [8D]
2006 Reflex Highlander, 29" draw, 68# draw weight.
Beman ICS Hunter 340, 29" cut length, 100 grain tip.
Vanes: Weight - 428 grains. Speed - 267 fps. FOC: 10.78% K/E: 67.77
Feathers: Weight - 413 grains. Speed - 272 fps. FOC: 12.93% K/E: 67.86
Anyway, I'll shoot vanes if the weather is crummy, but for the most part, I'm hooked on feathers!
