..."Wild Game Nation". I've watched this show twice. Now what a bunch of incompetent, idiot clowns to have their own TV show. They have to be the worst. They're somewhere between Tred Barta and Rosie with a little Jerry Springer thrown in. They prove the old saying, "The apple doesn't fall far from teh tree". Why do all these new folks think they have to be a comedian when they're so bad at it. They really exhault the image of a redneck, beer swilling, inbred dropout hunter. And.. a ball cap has a bill on it for one reason, it's suppose to face forward.

I've never seen the show, but I have seen shows that sound the same. The shows where the guys overkill the country boy redneck hunter. They try to be funny, but all they do is look like a bunch of idiots. I refuse to watch shows like this. I also can't stand to see the caps worn backwards or tilted to the side.It repulses me to see guys wearthe bill to the side.The only time you need to wear a cap backwards is when you are in a boat that is fast enough to blow your hat off. There are some good shows out there, but there are equally bad ones also.

I had never watched it before, so I went over to youtube and watched a episode where they were in Ohio. Huge buck walks out and he smokes it....WITH A CROSSBOW...WTF! Is he handicapp? I never wanted to reach inside a T.V. so bad in my life....Also, is it legal in Ohio to "bait" deer?

I've never watched the show, but to answer your questions. Crossbows have been legal (for all hunters)in Ohio's archery season for something like 33 years. And yes, it is legal to hunt deer over bait in Ohio.

I sure wish I could figure out how shows like that are marketing themselves successfully enough to B.S. sponsors into backing them.Iown an outdoor production company and frankly, after watching quite a bit of the new outdoor tv season the lasttwoweeks, I can'tblame anyone forstereotyping allhunting shows as terrible. It is a shame that sponsors don't take the time or initiative to selectwhat shows they will back based on quality of footage and entertainment/educational value.
