new release

I just got my new release, and i want to make it shorter now i shortend my old release, but this one dosnt want too. here is the pic.

you have to cut the plastic around the screw rod. Then just tighten the rod to the plastic.

ok, any good ways to cut it, my dad has a saw that works with his air compressor at his shop, do you think that would work?
