Default Whys it called Bowhunting?

I've always wondered why this section of the forum is called the bowhunting section? While the other sections are Deer Hunting, Big Game Hunting and the like. I'm pretty sure we're not hunting the bows, are we?

I have always thought it should be called "Bowhunter's Forum" becuase that is who hangs out here. Most of the threads here do not come close to talking about bowhunting but most of the people in the threads bowhunt.

Just like different parts of the military have different functions and names, Army, Navy, Airforce, Marines.......the infantry guys for the main part would like to discuss the things happening on Terra Firma, while the naval guys more than likely would be discussing things that have to do with water. And then there is some crossover, where they would be talking about things that are common to all military personnel. But for the most part, people like to talk about things that are very specific to them, and in this case, it is hunting with a bow.
