Could it be our old friend? This was two years ago and I haven't seen this buck since. Wide, good brows, and short tines. I believe he was 3 1/2 in this photos here, which would put him at 5 1/2 this fall.

As for getting permission at that farm, good luck. I don't believe our friend Mr. K will permit it. Although it's certainly worth a shot.

You sound exactly like your pa sometimes.. sometimes so much its scary. So negative..

It doesn't hurt to ask.. and I know the K's decently enough. We'll see.

About time you get out and do some looking.
But I don't see you? (ME)
ORIGINAL: dukemichaels

This year has been odd for me.. just haven't been bit by the urge to get back into stand. But.. after 90 degree temps. dove with a brisk northern wind this evening I decided to get back out and track a buck I first ran into just last week. I figured he would be on the move.

I first saw him last Wednesday night nearly commit suicide in front of me.. I took a U'ee and ended up tracing back into the woods where he ran back into. 80 yards in.. and I ran into his bedroom.. and I knew it right away. Quickly I backed out and decided to return under better circumstances.. which a northern wind blew in tonight.

He's at least a 5 yr. old.. plainly seen by his belly even in mid-July. Super wide.. good mass.. but low tines. A perfect replica of a buck I killed about 1 mile away in 06'.. only he was smaller.. but still sported a 23" wide spread.

Interestingly enough his bedroom is about 1/4 mile from one of Justins haunts.. and I am thinking of seeking permission from the farm I saw him on tonight.

Notice the very large mid-July body and neck..!

Sorry the pic is bad.. he busted me and ran about 200 yds. away before I could take this photo.
