b-rice: Your too late for last years contest. You are allowed to vote though. The Mod Cup has been around for a couple of years and you can keep your eyes open for next falls sign up.

mrfishy and b-rice, the sign ups for next years cup should start around July. It will be the 4th annual moderators cup, and it costs $2-$5 to sign up. The cost covers the price of the 4 trophies, and shipping. I' ve been collecting the money and having the trophies made for the last two years. IL_BOW_MAN has been putting the websight together and taking care of hosting the photos.

There are two winners for largest whitetail and runner up, and two winners for viewers choice and runner up. We' ll post a sign up period, and an entry deadline for the money to be submitted. Some seasons go until the end of January and into February, so we leave it open for submissions of trophies until then. After that we give it about a month for voting, and with the new format we are able to set up the poll right here on the message boards, so hopefully next year we will get a lot more participation. If it grows some more, I' d like to include new catagories such as best story, young hunter awards and so on.

ABM, I received imfo from IBM on the contest for the up comeing year as I would like to enter, but here is my question, lets say I shoot 4 different animals, could I enter all 4 or would I only be allowed to enter 1 of them? Just wondering? Thanks, Bobby:)

Bobby, not sure how we are going to handle this in the future as of yet. We' ll have to do some discussion on this before next seasons sign up. I originally had 4 this year but brought it down to one. I think that is how it might be handled, unless other suggestions come up, is to allow one entry per person, so if you shoot 4 different animals, then you pick the one that you want to have entered for the viewers choice. In all honosty we want to keep it as simple as possible, and still as fair as possible. Any suggestions are welcome any time.

Yep, i agree there Robert. Just think what that picture would have looked like with a 330 class 6X6 Bull though..............
