I too use the rubber bands to prevent premature deploymentation.:D That's a good idea about the oil though. I'll have to get some scent free oil and try that.

Damien, if nobody takes you up on those Rages I'll take them off your hands.

Well last year I shot a doe with one, it was the biggest hole I have seen. The most blood I have ever seen on a trail. Even though I see the deer go down.

Like most things they need to be taken care of, so I did a test.

I put a lot oil on 4 of by rage 2 blade BH, I left one without.

The four with oil I just looked at and they are ready for service, blades still shart and O-ring in good condition.

The one without was not so good, I had to touch up the blades and the o-ring was rotten.

I like the rage and I am going to use them, I suggest those who do use them to inspect them after a long sit. A little non-scented oil goes a long way;)
You know if I had a broadhead that sharted in my quiver I would throw it out:eek:

Don't tempt me to blow off my buddy's bachelor party weekend to come up to the NE GTG with a case of whoop ass handy.;)

Germ, I have heard the hole left by them is so large that bloodcrick could stick one(just one) of his enourmously fat fingers in the wound channel. You have seen both can you confirm this??

Here's what I have learned about Rage BH's. With all the talk of using O-Rings and WD-40, I think I'll stay with my Muzzy fixed blade heads!:D
