I tells me that Ky. sucks, I must be awesome, If I lived in Wisconsin I would be a huntinggod, Pa. and NY. are much better so stay away. But your more than welcome GERM, come on down.

Looking at the two counties that I regularly hunt and seeing so few entries confirms what I have suspected for a while and echoed by others as well. Not many people bother to enter their deer in either of these two club's records.

I can only assume that this low participation level is consistent throughout the country. If so, then the map is still accurate from a relativity/comparison perspective.

ORIGINAL: GMMAT

Tells me all the great hunters live in the shaded areas....

I was thinking the same thing.

Either that or the L word has something to do with it.[]

My county says 4-10. But i know for a fact that alot of big bucks are not entered and alot more get gun killed. Heck my cousin has 3 on his wall that would qualify that are not entered.

Very interesting map though.

There are countless numbers of B&C and P&Y deer that are just not entered on purpose and some not really caring about score ! I hunt in southeast Oklahoma and lots of hunters around here are more concerned about the weight of the deer than the score ! I personally have been in several homes and saw 6 at one house and several more at others that were 160 class deer . Its probably better that some of our states and counties are overlooked or more hunters with more money than us would be hunting instead of us!

The odds look real good anywhere along the Mississippi River north of St. Louis.
