How about the heaviest oldest doe contest? :)

Send a pic of the deer on scale and try to get a photo copy of the age print out...Or mail us the teeth:D

I once shot a 10 year old doe in 2000....

Seriously though guys....not a bad idea? Put a spin on the competition...its like bowfishing....award goes to the smallest carp too.

There is no "stud factor" in this type of contest ;). Good luck getting it off the ground LOL :D:D.

I would be in! I was a similar competion a few yrs ago and it turned out my buddy has a scale that goes to 550lbs. Mine went 128lbs dressed...... I don't have a way to age but sending the teeth would be OK for me. It might be a hard sell to some. One problem going with weight, is a doe shot in the later fall or early winter would be heavier because of its wieght build for the winter. I shot mine in early sept

HAHAAH...I know...when I was 12 or 13 I always thought every littlebuck I killed was 180 pounds....more like 110:D

sounds like fun if it would get rolling. My son killed a doe aged at 7.5 + several years ago. Her teeth looked like crap :D

It would be nice, but unfair.

Deer in south tend to be smaller, so someone could shoot an older doe in NC than a hunter in Wis. The Wis doe is bigger, this would diminish the southern does trophy status;)

Hunting old mature fat does is all about location;)

The only way it can be fair is have a HNDCAP system like in golf.

Southern deer will get + % weight added
Midwest deer have zero weight added
Canadian deer must subtract % of weight
