Hmm, no good answer to that. The only one weather condition that keeps me home is heat. I hate it, things move much less in the daylight.

i like it sunny, or overcast with temps in the 35-40 degree range. i dont mind a little drizzle either.

If it were up to me, then I would take a sunny day with 50 degree temps for bow season.

For gun season when I am bundled up I prefer the snow.

I really like to hunt when there is snow on the ground, but around my neck of the woods that dosen't happen very offten, so latley it has been early season September and October

Maybe I am hardcore too then cause I love it out in the woods during a good down pour. It chases all the wannabes out of the woods and what you have left is the cream of the crop.

Any time the temp is 35 or below with a15mph wind and snow on the ground.They are alwaysmoving to keep warm.

The only reason i don't like a downpour during hunting is because of tracking. During rifle i usually follow the deer right after i shoot it, but during archery i like to give the deer some time and rain ruins the blood trail if left to long.

Besides that I don't mind the rain in the woods. Isometimes see better deermovement in the rain.
