    8 yards off the ground on a doe this past fall. Also had my buck come right into me at 3 yards but no shot ended up having to make the shot at a much greater distance.

    about 2 feet.
    I was sitting on a fallen down tree and the doe just came walking right up next to me. Lol, luckily I had it pulled back for about 20 seconds before she finally got to me, she was so close I didn't really have to aim but what good would that doe. I might get a bad shot..

    We measured it at exactly 7 FEET from the ground while hiding behind/under a 4 inch oak. The most amazing thing, he was the 11th deer in a convoy.
