Drury boys ok with me...
 

Many of you know by now that I watch lots of videos in the off season. Most I take with a grain of salt, for several reasons. 1. most are on outfitter property or high fenced. 2. I don't see those kind of deer here in my range. 3. It's all a sales pitch. 4. No preview of scouting etc... just clip of kills. So, why do I like the Drury Bros??? Well, I know they hunt some prime stuff, but I really think these guys know what they are talking about for the areas they hunt. Plus they give us a little bit of a story with their dvd's . Now I know they own two different farms and some of the time they go to other people's farms in Iowa and Ill. but I have never heard them mention an outfitter or high fence. So are they legit?? you tell me. I like them and enjoy their stuff even though they do hunt the prime time stuff. I don't get bored with them.

I actually enjoyed the Drury Brother's Dream Season shows when they had the amatuer teams much better then the shows that have the Drury's hunting. I guess it was cool to see people who were much closer to being "average joes" hunting then to see the Drurys shot ANOTHER huge deer. All in all i think they are pretty good, sometimes they can be a little cheesy, but they seem fairly down to earth. My favorite show is the Primos series but Drurys are prob top five. Their calls on the other hand...i don't know if i have ever held, heard, used one that i liked

I believe they are legit.

I have never understood why people discredit "pro" hunters for hunting quality areas.
To me, it is like getting mad at someone for hunting gators in Florida. YOU HUNT WHERE THE BIG DEER LIVE.

They get 5 stars from this guy.

I don't think they hunt High Fences but I know they have alot of the scouting and hanging of stands done for them.I like how they try and teach you stuff but some of the marketing I could live without.

Yeh I agree Call2much. I like the fact that they do the work to get those big deer, they plant, manage, scout the whole 9...that's why I give them a thumbs up. Hell, who wouldn't want to hunt where big deer live??

Drop, I didn't say I watched their vids a lot, I only have seen a few very few, but I have never seen them mention an outfitter. But if they do they do, they still make a good vid.
