RE: how does this look
As long as you find a deer with a paper plate taped to it's side.:D

Looks like a paper plate.

Good enough for deer hunting, is that a trad bow with no sights? If not I'd get my bow/arrows checked.

not bad, but see if you can concentrate on getting the grouping tighter; more consistency in the shots. Also, maybe try to shoot out farther, like 45-50yds. I practice @ 50, so when you go to 20 it seem like right up on the target, & your groups will be tight.

RE: how does this look
^ my max distance where i can shoot is 35 yards.

The arrow that hit high i replaced that arrow and my groups are better. I will post pics up in a little bit of the new groups.

RE: how does this look
Looks like styrofoam to me, and that doesn't taste very good. As for group size? Work on it and cut that to half what it is now. There is no such thing as "good enough for hunting". This life and death, blood and guts we're talking about. Under the duress and conditionsof hunting those groups will get bigger.
You want something better to aim at? Try using an NFAA Hunter target--18". Shoot arrows into a bullseye for now. Leave the plate for the dinner table. |
