Mike: Why do you want illiminocks? You don' t want to whatch you knock I hope.[:o] If you use something like this, I' ll bet you will end up watching the light.
I shoot both stick and compoud, and if you are watchig your knock, your not watching the spot (game). A lot of the things for bow hunting just turns out to be hype. so be careful.

I saw that show also, and thought it was a neat idea. Never seen them advertised in any of the bow mags, or previously mentioned here. The whole concept behind them is simply to help see where exactly your arrow entered the animal. You could really see it on tv to the deer' s brown background. I know alot of hunters have went to white fletchings, nocks, and cresting to help see where exactly the arrow penetrates.

Well, I think they are a little high priced at ten bucks a nock

There kind of a hype deal like joe wright said. There a neat idea i guess, but i think there kinda overpriced for what you get. I was with some guys who used them to night hunt hogs, this way they could see there arrow and if the even hit the pig. They also had light up sites from impact archery. I would assume they shoot like regular nocks. If you get some, tell us how they work.

I saw that show also. The guy had to wait for more light so the camera could get good footage. When he shot his nock was glowing like it was on fire. Pretty neat looking in the early light of morning.

I really don' t see why you can' t just use white vanes to see better. If you can' t see white vanes then you need glasses.

Besides you shouldn' t be peeking anyways ;)

You can buy them out of Cabelas catalogue. Like many of the others I don' t know why you would want to as they could produce some bad habits like trying to see your nock in flight. On the other hand my wife uses black nocks and they are a bear to see in a 3-D target and therefore hard to aim for. It' s just a fun thing!:);):)
