I wash all my scent lok in a unscented soap ,you can buy it at your local grocery store . You can buy it from Scentlok ,but it cost's double the price.

pretty much what nubo said.....i use to get my soap from walmart, but was at cabelas this past weekend and i picked up some Scentlok soap ($12). wash then throw in dryer.

ok now how long should i washand dry it to activate the carbon.whati am asking is how i should do it without tearing it up.

from my understanding, you can't reactivate the carbon due to your dryer not reaching proper temp.'s. this is why all the law suits are being filed.

He's correct, the temperatures and conditions required to reactivate carbon would incinerate the clothing. Do a Google search for "activated carbon" and read for yourself what it takes, and if you still have the receipt for the Scent Lok take it back for a refund.

Thanks, I still think it helps and retains some of it's scent adsobing capabilities after proper conditioning in the dryer. (re-activation was a poor choice of words). The dryer does produce enough heat to drive off many of the scent molecules and rendering the garment useful. I'll wash it in any good scent -free detergent like Atsko.
