fishing while hunting

I always bring along a metal hook with me in the event I drop something out of the tree i can retrieve it. I have had to do this on more than one time. I'll tie it onto a line or my pull up rope for the bow it works great. a few times
i have left my lunch bag at the back of the tree and retrieved it at lunch time, I use a bigger hook for that.
How many of you have gone fishing for things while hunting or domost of youclimb all the way down to get your lost
item ?

In 37 years of bowhunting I can count on maybe a half a hand the things I've dropped, and 2 of those are single arrows. Nope, I don't need a fishing pole. I certainly don't need some sharp hook poking holes in me. LOL
