Who has ever been bitten by a snake?
 

Have you Ever been bitten bya POISIONOUS SNAKE, or do you know somebody who has. Ihave beencontemplating snake boots, we have cotton mouths copperheads and rattle snakes where I hunt and you can find these all the way till Nov. Dec.. But if you have been bitten or know someone who has been tell me about the experience. Thanks..

I've never even seen a poisonous snake in the wild. I like it like that!:D

I have seen several, been close to a couple... Here is my thought... $200 for a good pair of snake boots beats the hell out of $1000's of dollars in medical and lost wages plus possible death. But its up to you.

Been bitten twice by the second deadlist snake on the planet, both times spent 2 weeks in hospital getting shots of antivanine in the butt, I honestly thought I was gonna die both times.

Of course back in those days there was no such thing as snake boots.

Do yourself a favour and get snake boots it's good insurance even if you never see a snake in the wild.

I say if he bites you, bite his a#$ back, that is just uncalled for. Seriously though I go down to texas on occassion in serious brush country and after killing a huge rattler last time I will never again go without some kind of protection. The problem with a lot of the snakes is they don't announce themselves like most people think and you end up stepping on them and needless to say they are not to happy at that point.

Handled hundreds of moccasins seveal rattle snakes and several copperheadsand never been bitten. I have been bitten numerous times by non poisonous snakes, though I am not ascareful around them.

My dog was bitten twice (single incident) in the front legby an unidentified poisonous snake and she nearly died. After been bitten she was making her way back to the house from the pond in the backand collapsed in the back yard with no sign of lifejust as my wife was getting ready to leave from work.My wicfe rushed the dog to the vet and three days and $1000 later she was ok though swolen and very sore.
