How do others video their hunts?

I was wondering how others video their hunts? Do you have another person videoing or do you have a video camera positioned on a tree or tripod? Do you video from inside a blind or in a treestand? Just curious and looking for some "New" ideas.

Here's a tripod in constructed out of PVC. I used it for videoing my turkey hunts this past season and it worked good. Now I have to find a way to somehow mount my camera to a tree using this sort of set up/

I'm trying out a helmet cam w/Archos 605 to see how it works. It will record exactly what I am looking at and the flight of the arrow as she hopefully sails on her way to a quick and fatal impact. BTW, if you haven't checked out ARCHOS.COM try it. I love mine better than my IPOD and its more versatile too!

We use a cameraman whenever available, but I will do self-filmed hunts as well. I'm simply not willing to sacrifice hunting time for lack of a cameraman.

In either case we are using tripods with fluid heads when blind/ground hunting and treearms with fluid heads for treestand hunting.

All of our hunts are filmed... 99.9% done with a cameraman... Not to sell product or anything, but Roscoby Riser Cam has a product out that you can film your own hunt with zero aid... Quality is decent we have been playing with them for a bit and I know the guys from G-5 have been too. They have there black bear hunt posted on YOUTube. Key work Roscoby
