It's not the most crisp pic, but how many acres would you think this thicket is? Just curious. The house might help with reference. That's a ranger's house, he's not "pressure".;)That marker is where the bottompic was taken.

Maybe it's just me, but if that's an average sized house (roof top) I'm looking at, and we're only talking about the "treeless squared area" behind it, then my guess is3-5 acres tops :eek:

-Click radar Map
-Scroll down whereyou type in your address
-When you see the state you searched you will see on the upper left corner of -the map (Road / satellite)
-Click satellite
-You can zoom in on the property to the height of trees if needed. There is a scale as well to go by.

Use google earth and map the dimension utilizing the yard stick. It will do feet. The plug the numbers into a calculator made to calculate acres. Voila very close to the true size.

i reckon its about 300 aceres max no less than 250 though
