I believe I am going all Trad. Just me, a stick and string, COC broadheads on cedar shafts, and maybe a treestand or 2. Life is too short to not experience it I say.

I've been shooting my shop owner's Black Widow recently, and I've decided to whack a doe with it this year as well....Man is that just plain ole fun.

Didn't you make a thread in the Traditional forum a while back about this? Maybe it was someone else that did.

If you didn't I would make a thread in there instead of here being allot of the Traditional shooters won't come to this forum. There's folks in there with excellent advise.

There are so many good longbows out there. Montana, Checkmate, Fox Archery, Black Widow, Kota, many many more. Best thing to do is try and find a Traditional shop and pick up a few bows and see how they feel in your hand before you buy one. Longbows have a different style grip on most of them compared to the recurves and compounds.

Good to hear LT! Another Traditional bow hunter on the rise.;)

I know BHF. I started to go ahead and get the bow at the end of last season. Just didn't work out. I believe I will be more than ready by next season though. Just from what little Trad shooting I have done, I think I am actually going to be quite good at it. Not bragging, just my opinion. uh, or fact maybe? Hmm, kinda hard to tell the difference around here lately.
