Where would you place your stand?

I am curious where others would place their stands for achery. There are no ag crops near by, so these are strictly big woods deer. The fields in the pictures where old strip mines that where filled in and they do contain some clover, but not much.

I would look at these places, sort of a guess to be honest but it lookes like there is a creek or something from the picture, so the deer may go there to get a drink.
good luck

You have to identfy land structure. Big woods, small woods, ag land.....they all have things that funnel deer. Creek bottoms, saddles, draw bottoms, steep terrain....something. Find trail intersections, hang a stand and adjust from there.

Find the trails first, then decide your stand positions

Where are the property boundaries? Or, is everything up for grabs?

Can we see a map with topographical contour lines?

Everything is up for grabs. I'll see if I can find a topo to post.
