ORIGINAL: Steven McBee o yea, they were the nicest canadian guides i have ever met and and have really great hunting ground, they have 35bait sites that they bait with beaver year round 1. 35 sites that they bait with beaver year round? That's a hell of a lot of beavers to go through in a year. 2. IMO baiting year round is a bad idea. No matter the year or how many berries there are, I won't start baiting until 2-2.5 weeks before my first hunters. 3. A spring hunt can be tough. The boars are usually traveling a lot looking to breed and seldom hit the same bait day after day. Good luck next time man. |
