RE: FOB's

ORIGINAL: DropTine249

JUNK.

1-They are loud
2-They blow off when you shoot an animal(pass through)
3-They pop off when you hit a blunt surface(shoulder)
4-If you HAPPEN to step on them or drop them in just the right way, they lose their form

1. Fletchings and Feathers are really loud too. I didn't notice that much of an increase.
2. That's supposed to be a selling point. That way you know where you hit the animal.
3. Haven't had that happen
4. Same as 3.

I'm still shooting Predator Duravanes, but I was able to test some of these and I believe they are a pretty decent product, I wouldn't call them junk though.

RE: FOB's

I personaly like mine. I think they are not as loud as you would think. If you stand by the target in a safe spot obviusly you will notice that you dont hear the arrow coming as much with feathers/vains. I have droped mine and steped on them and however i would not recomend it mine still shoot fine. the only drawback i have found is that if you shoot into a shot up target and you get pass throughs you will start to ware the nock out and the fob does not stay as well. Just replace the nock and you should be golden or rape a peace of masking tape around the nock to tighten it in the arrow. Give them a shot for the 20 bucks they cost they are worth the time and fun of tinkering with.
