Tree Saddle

How many guys are planning on using a tree saddle this fall? I am thinking about buying one and giving it a shot.

Plus. The search feature never works for me. Is there something I am missing? Does anyone else have this problem?

I like the concept of the tree saddle. But, an I could get enough practice to get good at shooting. But what do you do with the bark that your boots are knocking off the side of the tree, it goes to the ground. If the deer can spot you in a tree stand with very little movement what is he going to do when your whole body is moving around. Nope, afraid not.

I have a tree suit. It's like a tree saddle. I call it my 3 hour stand because after 3 hours in it it's all I can stand. It tears at my stomach muscles. I love the concept but they claimed it was soo comfortable that you could sleep in it[:'(]
I am wondering if the saddle is any better.

I have one and I love it. It won't work for big guys but it will allow you to hunt and make shots from trees that are impractical for climbers.

Here's my review from the first year:

I can't find my review from the second year but here's anotherguy's:

I have always been interested in these...Just cant bring myself to fork out 200 bucks only to find out they are waaaay uncomfortable, like they appear. They look like a set of camo depends with a long strap on em.:D

Just seems way to uncomfortable for me to try, could be wrong though.

I think those that actually try it will love it. It is that comfortable and easy to shoot out of. Filming all of our hunts keeps me from being able to use mine anymore, but if I was hunting solo, I would not have any stands at all anymore.

Arethere any major stores that let you try it on?

I do like my treesaddle, as it gives me the option to hunt trees off limits to climbing stands. The only problem I'm having is resisting the temptation to swing aroundthe tree trunk like a monkey. It is fun to do...

Cabelas did for me in Dundee, MI. The salesman also stated I could return the saddle if I found it too akward. Trouble is, you really don't know if it truly fits until you've had a couple practice sessions setting up and getting the feel of the saddle.

I love mine. It takes a bit of getting used to but once you do it's the real deal. Makes me more mobile and much lighter than a stand. I typical have several sites set up with steps so all I have to do is climb up and hunt.

Is it comfortable enough to hunt out of all day?
