I have never taken one that would make it, I have two that were close (within 10 inches) but not quite big enough. The funny thing is I let two different ones go last year that would have made it but they were only 3 1/2 and on the ranch I hunt they would have not invited me back if I had shot a 3 1/2 year old. My first came when I was 19 or 20, I don't recall exactly. It was pretty much dumb luck for the most part, just happened to pick the right tree tosit next to that morning whenhe decided to work a scrape 12 yards in front of me. My 2nd came about 7 years later. In between that span I missed at least two and shot two that I never found. So yes, I suck.
