turbonocks?

Anyone tried them out or use them?

From my research, most people that have tried them seem to like them. The complaints I've seen are that fins break sometimes and that they are noisy when used with a whisker biscuit. It looks like the fins breaking problem has been improved and was more of a problem with earlier models, but I'm wondering about the noise. Any comments?

P.S. I have tried using the search but it doesnt seem to work. It doesnt find anything!

The inventor, Nick Snook is my Kung Fu Segung (Grandfather), he taught my instructor (Sifu) here in my home town. He tried forever to get me to try them as much as I do in the industry but alas, they didn't come in a small enough size for my ACC's without removing the nock bushing and I've never had issue with arrow flight with my set up and vane choice, now Blazers, why mess with success...LOL;)[8D]

Per the Turbonock, I've heard a lot of great reviews on them and many won titles using them but like the FOBS, I just don't see the point. I enjoy fletching arrows and I cannot imagine better flight nor groups than I'm currently used to. I believe Nick has since sold the nocks, not sure, haven't seen him in a while, last Christmas when I talked with him I believe he was moving into the New England states, Vermont perhaps.

I tried the Green Hunter Turbonocks . When I would release my arrow , the nock would tick my cheek . I was starting to develop a flinch and gave them away .
I have tried the FOBs and did NOT experience the same problem . I have not converted over to the FOBs yet although I like their results !

The purpose of the Turbonock is to eliminate fletching ................the NAP Thunderball only replaces the type of nock used . Big difference .

Yes I know i am not trying to take anything away from that but some people(like me)looked at them because they get the arrow spinning before it leaves the string
