5SHOT, 2003 BROADHEADS????
 

Hey 5SHOT,

I enjoy reading your tests on broadheads, was wondering if you had some insight on new broadheads for 2003??? I did notice that Rocky Mtn. came out with a new expandable, the Ironhead XP. Looks pretty sweet. But it seems that the little cut on contact blade seems to be the new thing with bh' s!? I think that an expandable needs to have a tip on it like a Muzzy(Steelheads). I still not sure what I' m going to shoot this year, might just go with Muzzy 4 blade 100 gr.?

Any insight would be awesome,

From what I saw at the ATA show I like the following stuff. I am sure 5 Shot will be testing a lot of stuff this year!

Rocky Mountain: Ironhead XP, Snyper 125
NAP: Scorpion
Steelforce: Hellfire 100
Rockets new fixed blades (can' t remember the name)

Others I am interested in seeing. Magnus is supposed to be coming out with a 4 blade version of the Stinger and also a 100 grain screw in version of the Snuffer.

There are alot of new heads this year. several have my intrest including the new 125 grn snyper as well as the razorcaps and scorpions. I am sure I will have my hands full this year! several of the heads I have not even seen pictures of yet, but I know Rocky mtn puts out quality products as does new Archery Products( except for the " new Razorback" blunder last year). Lots of great stuff to check out for sure!
