RE: Found my first ever fawn today.
My brother and me were fishing with some buddies at the river yesterday and he was walking through some waist tall grass and he tripped over a fawn.It got up and ran away, but it scared the crap out of him. he didnt go looking for it because he was afraid that mamma would come back

Actually found TWO !!
Went behind my house looking for them, but its thick. I heard deer running away as I entered, saw a pretty decent buck, though.
Then I went over to the farm to move a stand. Decided to look for some fawns and I found my first ever fawn laying next to a stream. I was able to get close, but didnt want to cause any trouble, so I watched for a bit and left.
On my way to check on the food plot, I saw another one with a doe. They actually let me get around 30yards away, then walked into the woods.
They were TINY. But wow they are so beautiful.
