i am fed up with bass pro and cabelas!
 

ok, about 2 weeks ago i ordered a black gold sight and i got it overnighted, well overnighted turned into a week and a half of waiting until i got it.......so anyways i had to get some broadheads and i decided not to use cabelas because of what happened last timeso i went to bass proand i payed for standard shipping this time, this happened about 8 or 9 days ago, well i decided to call and check on things and guess what, the broadheads might be in by my bear hunt on next saturday[:@], MIGHT be in, truthfully i will never order something from these two places again!

Could they admit it was their problem? Because once it leaves their wharehouse, it's out of their hands. Then it becomes a problem with UPS, USPS, Fed Ex, ETC.

I can't speak about Bass Pro, but Cabela's has ALWAYS given me very prompt delivery on everything I've ever ordered over the last few years.

That's why I don't order things I can just go buy;). Might have cost you an extra buck, but you would have had it that day. I live by a Cabelas and Bass Pro shop though.

Broadheads, Field points glue, nocks, inserts...etc... I order form Kustom King Archery or 3Rivers Archery and get my order in 2 days with regular shipping!

i live by both too but they did not have them in stock at those stores so i had to order them

I hate them anyway cause when i go to basspro,they dont even help. I mean there stuff is high and they dont helpa nd most dont no what they are doin.

Yeah, I will NEVER order from Bass Pro online EVER again. I haven't tried Cabelas however but I will take your word for it.

Thats seems odd for Cabelas, I've always gotten my orders in within 3-4 days tops. I don't bother with Bass Pro's because they always take 7-10 days, plus I don't know how many times items I've ordered from Bass Pro's was put on back order.

The problem with Cabelas and Bass Pro is they do such a high volume of mail order business that many times they are out of stock or back ordered on things.

I've found that when using either one the best thing to do is to call in the order. That way the customer service person can tell you if the item is in stock or not. If not and you need it quickly you can go elsewhere.

I get Broadhead orders out in less than 24 hours.

That's one reason I don't order online. I like to hold it, see it, and check it out before I buy. I try to support my local shops if at all possible.

I agree! Support your local shop when possible. Problem lots of Bowhunters don't have a shop within 50 miles. That's when an online store such as mine can be a great asset.;)
