Default oldest bow

Some of you get new bows all the time but just curious who here shoots an older bow? Who shoots the oldest ?

I have a 1954 Bear bow polar longbow I shoot. Shoots great. Haven't hunted with it yet though.

Great thread! I think Schultzy is in the running for this one! His recurve he hunts with has been his go to bow for many years I believe! I'm sure he'll chime in here soon!

It's not my hunting bow but I have and still shoot a Shakespeare Sierra 45# recurve that was made approximately 1973.

My bows are about like my trucks I usually wear one out before I get another one,,my oldest bow is a '90 model High Country Safari, shot it till Oct 2002 and the bushing in the wheels wore out and the wheels started leaning,I then bought a '02 High Country Premier Pro--talked to High Country they sent me new bushing, so now I shoot them both just according to how I feel. I figure I will get another 20 years out of them two then I will worry about a new one!!!

I shoot an '04 Hoyt ViperTec, but also have an '08 Pearson Z-32. I shoot the both a lot!!!

I haveWing archery recurve made for AMF@45lb from the early seventies dont shoot this at this point . I havemy first compound bow wich is a 1979 (if I recall correctly) Jennings and my PSE Fireflite wich I bought back in 97 or 98

I have a '68 Bear Super48 Magnum that I string up occassionally.Also have a double shelf Bear Polar.Don't know how old it is but I know it's pre-'61

Good memory BHF! Well it looks like I got the oldy so far.[8D] I've been hunting with the same recurve going on 14 years this fall the start of bear hunting Sept.1st. It still shoots like I got it yesterday, its been good to me!!
