The Monster Bucks series. I can' t stand watching them shoot semi-tame bucks, or passing up big bucks because " his G-3 looks a bit short."

Anything with Roger Raglin. What a tool...Anyone can go into a fenced area, sit on the ground with no cover what soever, blow repeatedly on a call that doesn' t even sound like any sort of sound that a whitetail deer makes, and have a tamed buck walk within 10 yards. I nearly threw up after watching this sorry excuse for a hunter.

I can' t stand to watch Buckmasters, anyting from Realtree or Mossy Oak. All these guys are hunting on high $$ pay hunts that are not realistic for the majority of bowhunters. Also, they don' t even get excited when they do kill a deer, its " business as usual" with these guys. They make me sick. I' d rather watch someone kill a 6pt on public land than a 10pt on some ranch. Also, anything filmed on a Texas ranch sucks. Its like shooting a dog at a garbage dump. And yes, I know what I' m talking about. My dad has been to a Texas ranch twice, and it was " pick which deer you want when they come into the feeder" . Not my idea of fair chase free roaming whitetails.

My least favorite are the Realtree videos!

Hey belle Island,
When you talk about a " Texas ranch hunt" . Just remember that those deer " ranches" cost big bucks $$ and most hunters in the state of Texas cannot or will not dish out the dough to hunt on one.

1/3 of prime Texas hunting land is East Texas pineywoods, and I assure you -It ain' t easy. I' m happy when I see some deer while bowhunting and usually onle get a couple of shots per year. I' ve got a co-worker that didn' t even see a deer this year on his East Texas lease (and he rifle hunted alot).

Any buckmaster video were there hunting Caribou- Like picking doves off a telephone line.

Im glad to see that some of you guys agree with what i was thinking, i hate to see thouse guys shoot big buck after big buck from those rances and passing up nice bucks for no good reason. I like watching hunting on public land not ranches.

Realtree!!!!! Watched Billy Boy talk about how hard this elk hunt was going to be then watched some doofy kid in SNEAKERS take down a Monster Bull with a rifle.

What' s wrong with sneakers? They' re my favorite hunting footwear for October in Texas. Makes it real easy to scramble up the tripod stand sitting directly over the feeder so I can pick and choose my deer. [8D]:D

Frankly, if it involves treestands and compounds, I don' t care much for watching it. Watching a guy sitting on his butt for 15 minutes, then holding draw for 5 minutes on a deer (to build up the suspense, I guess) and then a gutshot and " Thas whut it' s awl about." [>:] But Buckmasters is the worst.[X(]

DaveC-

Sorry, that was not meant as a bash to Texas hunters. I know that not everyone in Texas hunts on a ranch with feeders. It just makes me sick to watch guys shoot some huge buck as he is following the line of corn right to his stand. A lot of skill that must take!

bass pro shop had the monster buck video' s on sale for $5.00. after watching it i now know why. it was like watching a canned trophy hunt. once i got through it i tossed it in the garbage.

Before I read the first response, I was thinking of the junk that jackie bushman spews out---HATED IT. But there IS now another video that rates a close #2---it' s the latest video produced by tree-lounge. It features some idiot who says, " let' s go hunt" before each kill scene. He' s on a ranch with trophy deer walking right to him which he shoots with a rifle. Everything about him disgusted me and I couldn' t even force myself to finish the video even though I have others that I' ve watched repeatedly.

Sounds like the guy for tree lounge DaveH???

Everything is wrong with wearing sneakers bowhunting. Wear them in my state and I guarantee your luck will decrease. You will be lucky to see a deer. Rubber boots are the only way to go

I really started to dislkie the Monster Buck movies, at first it was awsome seeing all the huge bucks now its just stupid watching them get all excited over fenced in deer, no 160 class deer just hangs around the same are wating for you to shoot it, and if you miss the first time it gives you 2 more chances. It just looks unrealistic to me. The Buckmasters is the same way.

I like the Fitzgerald videos, ive only seen 3-4 of them, the ones that i saw i really liked.

I would have to agree with you Wickman. I have seen 4-5 of the Fitzgerald videos and I liked them all. I have not seen the last videos though. I like how they show everything when it happens. That makes a big defference.

I am not defending Buckmasters as I am as fed up with them as the next guy, however, at least their " infomercials" are somewhat professional. There was a small time show I was watching on the outdoor channel the other day that I just cringed to watch. The " acting" and promotion was so blatant that it made me not want to buy the product just so I would not look so idiotic....;)

Dean Durham(sp?) is the guy in the Tree Lounge vidoes. The Fitzgeralds are ok if they didnt show his son driving all his fancy toys at the end. I am like most of you the vaccum thing was just the last straw. There are just not to many vidoes now days that dont cater to Big Buck shooting. Used to be a guy called Jim Nieghbors(sp?) 100% Whitetail hunting. Man they shot does , spikes and everything like real hunting used to be before it became a big business
