Off topic....BUT
Why do I have to click twice on the BACK BUTTON to make it work? Is anyone else having this issue? This is the only place I have that problem. Maybe our Administrators need to take a look at it.

RE: Off topic....BUT
I've noticed the same thing. At first I was at work and thought it was something the corporation had done, then I got home and the same thing was going on. Maybe we can get an answer.

RE: Off topic....BUT
Yes, I experience this as well. I don't see it as an issue though. I have more important things to worry about, like crossbow threads!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Yes but its nota major problem. Had worse.

RE: Off topic....BUT
I don't have that problem. |
RE: Off topic....BUT
What browser are you using? I wonder if it's more browser related than software related. I'm using Firefox, and have had no issues to date. Back button works just fine with one click.

Yep, just checked with IE 7, and sure enough, had to hit the back button twice. I know this isn't technically a fix, but for those of you experiencing issues, try firefox out...I've been using it for a few years now.

Happens with IE6 as well. its a coding issue with the site and IE.

RE: Off topic....BUT
At the top of my HNIpage there's an info icon, andin blue letters it says, "The webpage cannot be found". Could this have anything to do with what we are talking about? I'm not the most computer savvy person.[:@]:D

RE: Off topic....BUT
Ok, think there's a work-around for this. Go to TOOLS in your toolbar up top. Scroll down to INTERNET OPTIONS. When the dialog box displays, click on the ADVANCED tab. Scroll down through the list to the category name SECURITY. Find the checkbox next to Allow active content to run in files on My Computer. Click Apply, then Ok. Close IE, and re-launch it. Your back button should work now.
This may not be the BEST fix, but it will do for now until Justin or Matt, or whoever can tell us a better solution. |

Due to the fact that we are all just sitting around like bumps on a log, the mods added the double click back button to get us alittle excersize. Enjoy.

RE: Off topic....BUT
I have firefox as well with no problems. I don't even have to log on when I visit, my computer remembers it.
Sounds like something else is loading while your looking at the page. Some sites do this to me, I have to click the back button two or three times, or click the drop down menu and select the page I want. One work around for it if you can't get it figured out is just open each page in a new window. This works well for computer that load slow as well. Or some forums I visit when I go back a page it starts me out at the top of the page instead of where I left off. I just open them in a new window and when I'm done reading I close it. Paul |
