You should be shooting about 29". You have short arms, I on the other hand have the arms of an ape 5'8" with a 5'11.5" wing span . lmao:D

I measure 28.5" but shoot 29".

I'm a true 29.5" so I shoot a 29 with a short D-loop. Also, I'll say that I have to use a release which doesn't make me lose any draw length.

If I have to use a release that has the trigger set back from the jaw, I have to shoot a shorter draw.

My DL on my Longbow is 27.5" and my Compound is 28".

I'monly 6'4" however, but I have a fairly long wing span (82in);)

6'1" maybe 6"2" here....My bow is set at 29" with a short d-loop and a release with a trigger right on the jaw. It feels comfortable to me.

I think alot of shops push through 29", because it is what is in stock as the common size...regardless if it fits perfectly or not. I bought my hoyt at 29" knowing full well it was too long at the purchase, but we mutually agreed "I would grow into it"[&o] Luckily for me, I did.:D;)
