I stick to the Bow. We live in a county that is primarily Bow only except west of Route 47. I live a couple miles from the dividing line but never get off my but to apply for the gun tags for first or second season.

The part of the county i hunt in ,firearms aren't allowed I did most of my hunting with my bow but now they made crossbows legal , so i will be using that all rifle season.

RE: Do you Bow-Hunt during gun season ?
I put down my bow for the gun season and then get it back out when the season is over.
One time my dad was hunting from the ground in gun season with his bow. He had a shot at a 10 point, (the biggest buck he had ever had an opportunity on). He made a perfect shot and watched his arrow dive below the deer when his broadhead struck a weed a few yards in front of the deer. He said he could have easily made the shot with a shotgun.
