Minnesota moose tag
 

On a whim, a month ago i applied for the first time to get a moose tag here in MN, knowing that 90% of licences are on preference points, and 10% is random drawing. Who'd of thought I would have gotten lucky on my first attempt. Having already taken 2 in alaska, this would be an added bonus on my hunting resume. Taz

That is awesome taz!! Good luck and congrats! Here is a moose my dad got back in 1987 with his longbow. He scored 172" net, its the number 2 archery moose in the state, it used to be the Mn archery state record but got beat back in 2000. It has an amazing 60" spread. He shot it in the BWCA.

Congrats.. That is awesome. That is the same thing I did this year, but for New Bruswick. I have never been moose hunting before. Can't wait.
