Archery shop robbed

Hey guys, real bummed and REAL ticked. A friends archery shop was robbed sometime between late saturday and this morning,Misczaks in Creighton,Pa.(its) between Springdale and Tarentum. He had around 20 bows,4 crossbows,a couple rifle scopes, and cash he had in the store taken after some A**hole kicked in 2 doors to get into the place. The police are investigating but he didnt have burglary insurance so this comes out of his pocket. Also, some of the bows were used that he allowed guys to sell out of his shop, about 10.If you belong to an archery club or sportsman club in our area,if you could post a note or message warning about somebody maybe trying to sell alot of equipment, would appreciate it.Thanks. And if you hear about somebody doing this, get ahold of me so I can let him know so he can let the police know. Thanks again.

HOW in the world can a guy own a business and not have insurance to cover breaking and entering? The archery shop I go to has burglar alarms, hidden cameras, alarm service, metal doors etc. Sorry he got hit. If there' s one thing I detest more than a liar or a PINKO Anti it' s a thief. The crook is probably stupid enough to try and pawn them or sell them within days. If the police put the word out to all local and nearby town pawn shops they' ll catch him.

I was thinking the same thing David. If he don' t have insurance for burglarly, I would doubt he has insurance at all on the place.

Tough luck though, hope they catch the guys who did it!!

Hey Mike,
If it' s the same guy I heard about yesterday, then I know the guy. Leon at Salooms, right? I was the Pearson sales rep that took his order at the ATA show. We spent a lot of time together. Real nice guy. Talked like he knew his stuff. Bummer he got hit. I' ll have my eyes and ears open here in central Pa.
Be nice if someone posted an itemized list of what was stolen. Collectively we could look for the stuff. Maybe be selling on Ebay or whatever.

An update, the police were notified by a landlord who happens to be a constable about a tenant of his having all kinds of boxes of archery equipment in his place. They got a search warrant and went in,recovering the majority of the stolen stuff. They put his place under surveillance, cause the guy wasnt there when they went in,and hopefully they arrest his ass soon. BGfisher, no,Joe is the owners name but he said the police found a bunch of boxes of Rocky boots and gun ammo also, and he let them know it wasnt his.Ive never heard of Salooms, might be his stuff. Seems the burglar is a heroin addict. Hopefully they FIX his butt in jail.

Mike, that' s where I go for my archery stuff. Joe is a good guy. If you find out the name of who did it, let me know. Maybe you, Wimp, 50 shot and myself will pay this crook a visit.
