Release for $60 or less

I just got a BP card for gradutation, and I would like to get a new release with it when I go spend it tomorrow.

I know I may not be able to geta great one but anything will be better than what I have now..

So any suggestions on a release for $60 dollars or less?

Im considering the Scott Mongoose. Any opinions on that one?

Sounds good, just stay away from the ones with velcro. I do not like pulling my bow back an hearing the velcro give an making noise. Just my thoughts.

NO!!!! I hate those style releases lol. I used one this previous year, and that part across the palm really gets in the way, that hand is pretty much useless when release is on.

Scott's are amazing releases IMO. If you shoot a D-loop, check out the silverhorn, they open style hook release. They are sweet, you can hook up to the string without looking and easily one handed. I love my Silverhorn and will be shooting one for a while now.:)

The only release I have used for 12 years is the Jim Fletcher release.

I have one and I love it. I love the way it shoots and also like the full sized trigger on it. The only thing I don't like is that you can't do as much stuff with your hand. It makes your draw weight feel lighter and it has a great trigger on it.

I've got the RedHead® XPS® Deluxe Caliper Bow Release and I like it a lot. I've never had the chance to try the mongoose though, it's probably better than mine but I didn't have the extra money at the time.

Just bought a Scott Mongoose in January and cant find a bad thing to say about it. I was using and older truefire before that and wow, I have now seen the light.

just ask to shoot with it a few times before you buy it, make sure its the one you want. Its a really good release though. Try it, the other one you posted, an open hook.....just try as many as you can and get the one that feels best to you. Youll be happier in the longrun.

I would recommend saving some money and buy a good quality release with a buckle only.

I've been using the new TRU Ball Sniper and really like it so far. I have the buckle strap and spring tigger. It comes with both style triggers.

You can see it on their web site http://truball.com/Sniper.html
