Does anybody do this?
Around this time every year I like to take inventory of my gear that I use in the fall. Act like the first day of the season is a week away. This way when you find you need something especially something that may cost some money, you have time to save or bargain shop for it. I was just sitting here at work thinking that I need to do this soon.

RE: Does anybody do this?
I do the exact same thing but it's usually in Jun/July when I do it. I drag all of my stuff out and go through it to see what exactly I have and determine what i need if anything..................I usually need one or two things....:D
It also allows me to re-organize my stuff. Throughout hunting seasonmy stuffgets un-organized and put in the worng places......... My wife thinks I am a loon for doing this every year......:D |
RE: Does anybody do this?
I too am guilty of this, organization and checking it all out.....Gotta Be Ready!!!!!:D

RE: Does anybody do this?
No, can't say I do. I use my gear year round. As soon as the deer tags are filled whats left of duck and goose season gets my attention. ThenI follow the spawns of many fish. Walleye, crappie, bass, cat, etc. Spring turkey season takes some days then it's back to fishing. There is really never a period during the year that I don't have a hunting or fishing adventure going on.

I love to do it, it not only makes me prepared, it gets me stoked. I have bags packed for the cabin usually 3 weeks to a month before the bow opener.
