This impala came into a waterhole over which I was sitting. He was 34 yards out and turned back to watch some blesbok coming into drink. Notice the black spot on his neck (I wish everything was marked with a bull's eye). When he turned and tightened up his skin, I felt I could make the shot. He dropped in his tracks and died moments later.

That is a great shot!
The arrow looked really fast, what sort of bow are you shooting? There was not a great deal of penetration though, did it hit the spine to put him down so fast?
