Ive used one before and it worked wonders, but oct bowhunting....the bugs havent been bad by me to date, so.....

I may have to give it a try,I live in louisiasna also and I have not went hunting because they were so bad.How long does it last before you have to refill it.Hey all you louisiana guys where are you located,I live at Rayville,pm me with your locations.

I am shocked at the answers, I thought it was a requirement for Sept Bow hunting. I would die without mine. Like stated, Id rather forget my bow than thermacell during early season. Of course, Im the kid sitting in the corner at outdoor events with a black cloud around him while everyone else is enjoying themselves....Anyone else noticed a natural tendency to be bit more than others?

Schultzy, you gotta try this out for your early season bear hunting bro. Im sure the skeeters try and carry you away up there in the swamps. 20 bucks for the unit and one or two refill kits would last you all season likely. Flip the switch and ten minutes later all the mosquitos are gone.

Thermacell is the best thing since sliced bread, heck its better than sliced bread.

BTW, KY mosquitos carry numchucks and won the deatchmatch cage fighting competition last year. They simply dont mess around. They can demolish their bigger northern brother or puny southern counterpart at the same time, any day of the week.

I dont use one because I dont want to....put a cover over my face and I can just deal with the bugs.

Best invention EVER!!!!! My bro n law got one first.... I thought......SUCKER!!!! Then he bragged about how awsome it was. Needless to say I ate crow for several meals after I seen how well they work!

Hey guy's, the Thermocell's work great, and yes, they work on sand knats / fleas also. And if you want to stay in the little lady's good grace's, get her the one that looks like a candle. I bought one for my wife, and she sets it out on the patio table. She loves it!
