RE: What Should I do, Caught DNR Stealing My Stuff???
ORIGINAL: Austin/WI I'm not saying that you did hunt the feeders, but remember, "It's not what you know, it's what you can prove" In this case it's what you can't disprove. Unless you have people that can vouch you've never hunted by the feeder, you may have problems unfortunately. While I seriously hope it never comes do this for you, I'd start getting prepared for it. That's absolutely ridiculous. You don't have to prove that you DIDN'T hunt over bait, they have to prove that you DID. What happened to guilty beyond a reasonable doubt??????? |
RE: What Should I do, Caught DNR Stealing My Stuff???
Again, the paris hilton of bowhunting. Fits you to a tee. |
RE: What Should I do, Caught DNR Stealing My Stuff???
What happened to guilty beyond a reasonable doubt? We only have one side of the story here. But back to the original question So my question is what shouldI do now? |
RE: What Should I do, Caught DNR Stealing My Stuff???
ORIGINAL: bigcountry See paris, you even got two groupies:D I don't really care if you two fight to be honest. It just gets a little old reading after a while. |

First off, I've got to say that Paris Hilton coment made me laugh, big time! (That's hot):D:D:DNow back to the issue. I think those guys (DNR) are up to something. I would NOT remove that feeder, as it may make you look like you're trying to hide something. In this case, don't go to the problem, let it come to you, if there is indeed a problem. You'll be one ofthe first to know.[:@]
I believe you've done nothing wrong, and you must be frustrated not knowing what'sactually going on. But I'm curious, is this feedervisible (half mile) from the road? If this is the situation, then I wouldsaythey'retrying to builda case. I hope I'm wrong.;) |
RE: What Should I do, Caught DNR Stealing My Stuff???
Well I would have to disagree because afterthe game wardenstole my SD card there would've been a problem. Also, if he was first to know then obviously he is misinforming us. What should've happened is if a game warden took his SD card and was on his land, then the land owner should've been informed of the situation. The DNR should've also have statedwhathe was doing on his property and with his SD card. Personally, I would've been at that office raising hell, which leads me to believe we aren't getting the whole story.

RE: What Should I do, Caught DNR Stealing My Stuff???
ORIGINAL: Austin/WI Ridiculous yes, but unfortunately its often the way it really works. If you had payed attention to the locals' posts about the DNR - police officer relationship, you probably wouldn't question my comment. If one group looks out for the other, and isn't willing to help - he may have to be able to prove he didn't that spot. A feeder in place, during season, with a game camera in location (remember they have his card - probably with pictures of game at the feeder as well) --- All of this is probably more than enough to "prove" he had hunted it in many peoples' eyes. I don't like it any better than you, but if he can't show any evidence that he didn't hunt that spot, there is a chance that things may not go his way. I'm very surprised, no, shocked that anyone would even think that this guy could be in trouble just becausehis DNRassumes that he's hunting over bait.Absolutely amazing.[:o] |
