Probably thought there was evidence of hunting turkey on a turkey feeder on the SD card. At least that would be the best explanation of him taking it. Sure would like to see the picture of the guy 1 minute after opening camera, taking card, and doing whatever else next.

Seems to me that he knew he was doing something wrong when he STOLE your memory card! If he didnt think he was doing anything wrong then why the hell would he take out the card?

I'd call the sheriff and have him arrested. I'd also write the paper, tell everyone I knew and ask for reimbursement for damage to the fields and anythinng else you can think of. If the guy sees any neat pictures he'll probably be back to poach your deer or at the very least enter them in a contest to see if he can win something. I'd dang sure make copies and call the law. No question about what to do. If it was some sleezeball that everyone knew was poaching what would you do. Exactly, do the same thing to this sleezeball. The guy was there for no good reason. At the minimum I'd ffind out who his supervisor was and take your evidence to him. Just ask him to ask the guy, what were you doing on your land? See what kind of story he comes up with.
