Prom car crash kills local young man
 

A local young man was killed in a car accident on the way to prom after eating at a local resturant. He was goofing around with friends in another car. appearently he attempted to pass on the right and things went wrong. A very tragic loss!
Please tell your loved ones to be safe during those times when fun can blur their reasoning.

Sorry hearto that and your right kids somtime don't always think i guess they don't think it could happen to them.My prayers go out to the family.Iknow i've told my kids just remember as you get older and you drive more amore your going to be less cautious that when thing will happen so always remember that so for so good .

When someone does something stupid, its not a tragedy. I do, however, feel sorry for his family.

Ill never forget the year that our area lost 4 wonderful kids on prom nite just up the road from our farm on HWY 73. These kids were great in school and well liked by everyone. Its tragic that they had to be killed by a drunk driver who survived the crash. I hope hes feeling pretty guilty still.

Spring and Summer seems to be the worst time for teens.
Also remember Doe's are kicking the youngin's out this time year for the new births.

I ran fire/ems for 10 years, I've seen more of this than I would ever have cared to. It's a sad deal. Young life, with an aweful lot of living to do. Having fun, enjoying life one minute...........gone the next. Very sad.

Remind your own kids to use common sense. Then remind your kids to use common sense. Then do it again.
Very sad, and avoidable.

I lost my best friend in a car crash earlier this year, but our prom went without any disasters this year which was good
