I would be willing to bet that even though this is anonymous, the results are definitely stretched. Just a guess though, I could be wrong.

It's kinda funny, because of thenumber of people in the thread that responded to what they were going to do with their $600 from the government (economic stimulus)and now there arean awful lot of us sayingthey make $75k+..........

Yeh im surprized at the 75,000 plus, that number is unherd of around here.
In NJ, everything is so darn expensive, you couldnt live here, semi-comfortably,unless you make 80k or more. Gov. Corzine hates poor people. He is an upper-class sucker..so he has done his best to increase the cost of living in NJ so that only rich people will want to stay. Therefore, he wont have tolook at the "scum of NJ" anymore.

With that said, NJ salaries may be averaging in the 100k range, but that doesnt really mean anything...because we have to spend more. The economy is so freakin upside down here.

We had guys working for our company, payed $26-$32 hourly for a skilled & experienced carpenter. A few years ago, they were doing well, now, at a relatively similar salaray, they can barely afford fuel to get to and from the shop in the morning. What a State !
The per capita income of New Jersey in 2007 was $49k. This is the second highest per capita income in the country (second to Connecticut). It's not as inflated as you may think. ;)

Yeah...I wish I were in the $75K+ range, but I was quite honest in my vote...and what's even worse is it was my gross figure[&:]
