Havent checked the cam in a about a week..hoping to in the next couple of days. But I saw a nice 1.5 year old sportin' his first soon-to-be first rack during a glassing session a couple weeks back. Pretty excited to see what he'll mature into.

RE: Are yall seeing antlers?
I have saw a lot in the 3 - 6 inch range... Just a couple with the brow tinessplitting off the mains though.
My brother (reliable source) told me he saw one last week with 100 plus inches of growth already with a 17-18 inch inside spread..... I haven't saw anything that impressive yet. [/align] |

RE: Are yall seeing antlers?
The antlers are just starting to really grow around here. The biggest bucks are starting to fork G1s and forming G2s and the little guys are still short 2-3"spikes

I was out Turkey hunting last week and had a group of 5 Bucks go past. 2 were showing some promising potential. Forked already with huge bases.

RE: Are yall seeing antlers?
ORIGINAL: DropTine249 Last years buttons obviously have good growth going, since they dont shed buttons. Onmy property, I saw the first 3 velvet stubs of the year, 2 days ago. Went out for a late afternoon glass. Caught 2 good sized bucksbrowsing between two run in barnstogether. I KNOW one of these bucks was the elusive one from last year, too... Then while patrolling the property I came across what I believe was a button buck last year, but he had some serious stumps going, real thick. And thats about all that I have seen on my proeprty. Mind you, I have 4 trail cameras that havnt been checked in a month. |
